Our Classes
MUSIC AND MOVEMENT FOR FAMILIES AND KIDS 0-5
In our Mixed-Age Family Class, babies and toddlers (up to age 5) all take the same class together. The older ones love to show what they know, and the younger ones love to imitate the older ones. It's a fun family-like environment for children to experience music and movement.
Fall 2025 classes, featuring the music of the Flute Collection, start the week of September 15
(10-week term)
Music Together Eugene's Rhythm Kids class (for ages 4-6) taps into how children this age are wired to learn, with music games, animal rhythm stories, and lots of stomping-flying-climbing fun. In each weekly class, we drum, sing, move, and play to rhythms inspired by musical traditions around the world. As your child learns to think and create like a musician, they’ll also gain valuable skills they’ll take to the elementary school classroom (and beyond!): confidence, focus, leadership, cognitive flexibility, and more.
Our Rhythm Kids course takes a break for the summer, but returns in September 2025!

Why Music Together Eugene?
The Music Together curriculum is a research-based immersive experience that centers a child's interaction with music and movement. All participants gain experience with different kinds of music, different tonalities, meters, and rhythms. We emphasize developmentally appropriate musical activities that are engaging and inclusive - and just plain fun!

Music Together Eugene is hosted by
Central Lutheran Church, and we meet in their buildings at 18th and Potter.The church has two parking lots: one at 18th and Potter, and one behind the main church building on 18th St, closer to University Street. Park in this rear alleyway parking lot and use the double glass-doored entrance. Our class will take place in a large classroom just down the hallway from the glass doors.
